Power cycling a Deako device will reset its connection. Try this troubleshooting step if you receive an error message that your device is not communicating with the Deako app.

Power cycle a switch
- Remove the faceplate from the wall by pulling outwards from one of the corners. Sometimes using a credit card can help!
- Pull the blue tab out
- Press the blue tab back in while pressing the switch in
Power cycle a Smart Plug
- Unplug the Smart Plug
- Wait 30 seconds, then plug the Smart Plug back in
- The Smart Plug will automatically reconnect within one minute
