Having problems linking your Deako switches to the Qolsys IQ Panel? Try these steps to get things back on track!
Double check that the box for Other Automation is checked and on
You can check this by going to Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Enter the Dealer Code (2222) >> Installation >> Dealer Settings >> then scrolling down to Other Automation
The panel needs to be on the same wifi network as your Deako devices. Deako devices support 2.4 GHz networks.
You can check the wifi network on the panel by going to Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Enter your Master Code >> Wifi >> and then tapping on the network your Deako switches are connected to (here's how to see that in the Deako app).
If the panel was connected to a different network than your Deako devices, in the Wifi menu tap on that other network, then tap Forget to remove it.
See if there are any upgrades available for your panel. Panel Software 2.5.3 or higher is required
You can do this by going to Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Enter the Dealer Code (2222) >> Upgrade Software
You'll want to start by going to Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Enter your Master Code >> then Installation
Next you'll want to navigate to >> Devices
From there tap Wifi Devices >> Delete Device >> now Select All Deako Devices >> Then hit Delete
And last step is to head back to the settings screen to >> Panel Reboot
Once the panel reboots, wait a couple minutes and then try to auto-learn devices again by going to Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Devices >> Automation >> Auto-learn Devices
