Get to know your Simple Timer Switch
- The Simple Timer Switch has a toggle to turn your lights or fan on and off.
- It also has a three (3) timerbuttons for 10, 30, and 60 minutes.
- Each timer button has an LED to indicate the current countdown time.
- When turned on, the Simple Timer Switch defaults to the last time used.
Setting up your Simple Timer Switch
Before you begin...
The Simple Timer Switch is only designed for use in single-pole circuits, i.e. lights that are only controlled by one switch
The Simple Timer Switch is easily installed the same way as all our other switches!
First time use
When the timer switch is pugged into the backplate for the first time, all 3 LEDs will light up.
To turn timer on:
- Press the on toggle or desired time button to turn the load on.
- If you press the on toggle, it will count down from the last time used.
- The first time use default is 10 minutes.
- Corresponding indicator light will light up for the duration of the time selected.
To turn the load off:
- Press the off toggle to turn the load off, or wait for the selected timer to run out.
To select different timer:
- Press the button corresponding to the desired time.
- Corresponding indicator light will light up for the duration of the time selected.
To turn on continuous operation:
- Press and hold the on toggle.
- All three LEDs will light up three times.
- This will deactivate any timer and put the switch into manual operation mode.
- To exit this mode, press the off toggle, or press one of the 3 timer buttons.
Troubleshooting your Simple Timer Switch
Toggle switch isn't controlling the load?
- The Simple Timer Switch is only for use in single-pole circuits, i.e. it should be used in locations where it's the only switch controlling the light.
- If the neutral wire is not connected, the Simple Timer Switch will not control the light. For more information on wiring issues, contact Deako Support.
