Factory resetting
Factory reset a device to erase all information including name, schedules, scenes, timers, and groups.
- Pull the blue tab outwards to disconnect the Deako Switch.
- While pressing the switch inwards, push in the blue tab to lock it.
- Immediately press and hold the switch until the 1, 2, and 3 icons appear.
- Tap the 3 icon, then 2, then 1 in order. Your switch will reset once the icons stop flashing (approx. 30 seconds).
Linking 3-way & 4-way switches
- Press and hold one of the switches until it flashes. (If nothing happens, try the other switch in the circuit).
- Tap the 1 icon to enter linking mode (it will begin flashing).
- Repeat steps 1 & 2 for every switch in the circuit.
- Tap the 2 icon on the last switch (the one in the "Load" location).
Tip: Use a Smart Dimmer in the last location to enable dimming!
Adding to the Deako app
Before you begin...
- Install Deako smart products in your home.
- Ensure Scene Controllers are linked manually first.
- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
What do the LED icons mean?
1 Icon is ON: Ready to pair with the app or link to other switches.
1 Flashing, 2 ON: The switch is currently in Linking Mode.
3 Icon is ON: The switch is in Factory Reset mode.
1, 2, and 3 Pulsing: Pairing or Linking is in progress.
