Common Reasons a Code Isn't Applying
1. You are purchasing a bundle or starter pack
Deako offers heavily discounted Bundles & Starter Packs (such as our Smart Security 25-Pack, Convenience Starter Kit, or Ambiance Starter Kit) to help you get started at the best possible price.
Important Note: Discount codes cannot be combined with already bundled savings. If your cart contains a bundle, additional promo codes will not apply to those items.
2. The code has expired or has a limit
Many of our promotional offers are time-sensitive or limited to a single-use per customer. Please double-check the expiration date in the email or promotional material where you found the code.
3. Exclusions apply to specific items
Some discount codes are only valid for specific products (e.g., individual Smart Switches) and may exclude other items like backplates, faceplates, or accessories.
4. Typos or formatting errors
Our promo codes are case-sensitive. Make sure there are no accidental spaces before or after the code when you paste it into the discount box at checkout.
How to Fix It
Check your cart: If you have a bundle in your cart, try removing it and adding individual items to see if the discount applies to standard-priced products.
