As of Nov 2021 All Deako devices and homeowners will be required to submit their Deako product details to register them for warranty coverage.
What does this mean for me?
By adding a device to our warranty program you will provide added security in the event you encounter issues, make it easier for us to send you replacements, and gives us the ability to track important information for your devices!
Simple devices - When added you'll be able to see the devices serial number, installer and the warranty end date
Smart devices - You'll see the device name, serial number, firmware, product name, installer and warranty ends date
Getting set-up (New Deako Accounts)
When you first set up your Deako account and add a device you'll be prompted to fill out the following;
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone number
- Street
- City
- State
- Zipcode
Why do we need your address? — This information makes it easy for us to send out a new device if you experience product issues.
Once your device is set up in the system you're good to go and there's nothing else you'd need to do!
Getting set-up (Existing Deako Accounts)
For existing Deako accounts you can expect a red dot 🔴, to appear to top left of your screen prompting you to head to the settings menu
From the settings menu you'll want to navigate to "Activate your warranty "
Here, you'll be taken to the next page where you will scan your device and fill out the fields that appear.
After this you'll be good to go!
