Important
Deako WiFi-enabled devices support only 2.4GHz a/b/g/n wireless networks with WPA or WPA2 security. Deako does not support hidden SSIDs. Not sure which network is 2.4GHz? Check out How can I tell if my WiFi is 2.4 GHz?
Restart your Deako Connect
Unplug the Deako Connect
Wait, plug back in
Wait for 30 seconds, then plug the Deako Connect back in.
Reconnect
Your device will only automatically connect to your WiFi if you have previously set it up. See How to setup a Deako Connect if you need to set up the device. Your Deako Connect will automatically reconnect to your WiFi within a few minutes minute.
Still having trouble?
If you have restarted your Deako Connect and still having problems, try reconfiguring.
If you have changed your WiFi password recently, you will need to reconfigure your Deako Connect and enter your new password.
Reconfigure a Connect
Already have your WiFi setup up but want to change the network it's connected to? You can reconfigure your WiFi settings at any time using the steps below.
Have a V2 Connect?
You will need to factory reset your device first. Head here for instructions on that.
Not sure what version you have? Check the sticker on the back of your Deako Connect (right above the power plug-in) or contact support@deako.com for assistance.
Unplug and Plug in the Deako Connect
Briefly unplug your Connect and then plug the device back in.
Open WiFi Settings setup in the Deako app
Open the Deako App and tap the gear icon at the top left corner. Then select WiFi Settings.
Reconfigure your settings
Tap reconfigure. Continue through the in-app instructions to complete the reconfiguration.
