The Deako App home screen allows you to control your Lights (all the Deako Smart Products that have been paired to your location) and your Groups.

Groups allow you to group your Deako Smart Products so that you can control multiple lights with a single touch!

 

Edit a light

Open the Deako App & navigate to lights

To edit a light, open the Deako App and navigate to lights by tapping the lights tab from the home screen.

 

Tap Edit in the upper right to enter edit mode.

Tap the arrow for the light you want to edit

 

Edit the light

On the Edit Light page, you can rename your light or select if you would like the scene icon to appear on the switch.

When toggled on, the scene icon will appear on Smart Scene Controller switches that have one or more scene assigned (learn more about scenes).

Tap the “save” button on the bottom of the page when you're finished.

Reorder your lights

Open the Deako App & navigate to lights

To edit a light, open the Deako App and navigate to lights by tapping the lights tab from the home screen.

Tap Edit in the upper right to enter edit mode

Tap and hold the 3 line symbol next to light you'd like to reorder

Drag the light to the order you'd like, then hit Done

While holding the 3 line symbol, drag the light into the order you'd like. You can move other lights around as well. Once they're in the order you'd prefer, hit Done to apply the changes!

 

Create a group

Open the Deako App & tap the "+" icon

To create a group, open the Deako App and tap the "+" icon from the home screen.

 

Tap the group icon

 

Name your group and select the lights you’d like to include.

Tap the “Done” button on the bottom of the page when you have finished.

 

Edit a group

Open the Deako App & navigate to groups

To edit a group, open the Deako App and navigate to groups by tapping the groups tab on the home screen. 

Tap Edit in the upper right to enter edit mode.

Edit the group

From Group Options you can make changes to your group. Tap the “save” button on the bottom of the page when you are finished.

 

Delete a group

Open the Deako App & navigate to groups

To delete a group, open the Deako App and navigate to groups by tapping the groups tab from the home screen.

Tap "edit" on the group screen

Tap the arrow on the group you want to delete

Delete group

From Group Options, tap the "Delete Group" button on the bottom of the page.
