How to Connect
Before trying to connect Alexa with your Deako Smart Lighting system, please make sure your WiFi Bridge is powered and connected to your home WiFi.
If your WiFi Bridge does not appear to be connected, you may want to reconnect or power-cycle your bridge.
After your bridge is connected, please complete the steps below on your computer (not in the Alexa app) to connect Alexa with Deako.
- Log in to your Alexa account: alexa.amazon.com.
- Click here and login to your Deako account.
- Select your Profile/Location.
- Return to your Alexa account (you might have to refresh the page).
- Select the Smart Home tab.
- Click Devices.
- Click Discover.
The discovery process will connect your switches, zones, and scenes to Alexa. Simple Switches will not be shown in your Alexa list.
